I've had the pleasure of working with Ray in a number of arenas throughout DC Events, and have ALWAYS trusted Ray's professional and personal opinions when it comes to logistics, event management and general style. He's always quick with a perfect suggestion, an added detail or some needed commentary on the situation at hand and I can't think of someone I'd trust more in the most delicate of situations. He's a class act.
When we got married in September 2016, we knew that our week-of coordinator had to be Ray Bracken. We knew him from work-related events and he's exactly who we wanted taking care of every detail on our wedding day. He not only made sure the day went off without a hitch, but he did it all with grace, humor, and a level of perfection that put our minds at ease.

Ray's attention to detail when planning our wedding allowed my wife and I to sit back and fully enjoy the celebration. He guided us every step of the way, from vision to planning to party, without putting any undue pressure on us. While we've heard that weddings can be very stressful life events, we wouldn't know anything about that thanks to Ray's talent as an event planner.
Ray was a fantastic addition to our wedding team. Though we felt like we had a firm handle on what we wanted, he brought a new set of ideas, perspectives, and vendors to our event. He executed on our ideas beautifully and was able to connect us with people we would not have otherwise known to contact or reach out to. Along with his dense contact list, Ray brought a strong set of organizational skills to the table. He kept the pre-event schedule on task and on time and made sure we were within budget, despite our best efforts to derail him on both. Our family took to calling him "all over it Ray" due to his ability throughout the wedding weekend and during the big event to always be one step ahead of everything and was able to keep us all on track for a successful wedding. My husband and I could not have done it without him. As two anxious DC "Type A" personalities, we were able to relax and enjoy the day knowing Ray was "all over it."
In planning a weekend for a milestone birthday (my 40th), Ray checked in as often as I needed, ran with my ideas and fleshed them out, and coordinated with vendors and guests alike with verve and a flair for simple elegance. Because he took care of everything, I was able to sit back, relax, and just enjoy a perfect, sunny weekend with my best friends. I won’t ever forget that weekend. I’m so glad I trusted Ray to plan it, and recommend unreservedly.
